Lynway Health and Wellbeing Solutions Ltd a prominent care agency based in Caister-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth, is dedicated to providing top-tier healthcare professionals to clients. We recognise our responsibility to ensure ethical practices within our recruitment and employment processes. In line with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, this policy reflects our commitment to identifying, preventing, and mitigating the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains.

Policy Statement

Lynway Health and Wellbeing Solutions Ltd. acknowledge the severity of modern slavery, which includes human trafficking, forced labour, and domestic servitude. We uphold a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are fully committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings. This policy outlines our efforts to enforce effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not present in our business or supply chains.

Responsibility for the Policy

The board of directors is responsible for ensuring this policy’s compliance with our legal and ethical obligations. The Compliance Officer, appointed by the board, holds the primary day-to-day responsibility for implementing this policy, monitoring its use and effectiveness, and auditing internal control systems and procedures.

Compliance with the Policy

All employees, irrespective of their role or level, must adhere to this policy and contribute to ensuring our supply chains are slavery-free. Any uncertainty regarding the forms of modern slavery or conditions within any tier of our supply chains should be promptly communicated to the Compliance Officer.

Supplier Adherence to Our Values

We expect our suppliers and contractors to align with our zero-tolerance stance on modern slavery. The board of directors ensures compliance in this area, and suppliers must declare their adherence to safe, dignified, and ethical labour practices.

Training

Awareness and understanding of modern slavery risks are crucial. We provide training to our staff and require our business partners to do the same, ensuring that the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains are well-understood and effectively addressed

.

Breaches of This Policy

Breaches of this policy by any employee will lead to disciplinary action, potentially culminating in dismissal for misconduct or gross misconduct. We reserve the right to terminate our relationship with other individuals and organisations working on our behalf if they violate this policy.

This policy will undergo regular review (at least annually) by the company’s board of directors and may be amended as necessary.
